About this property
Prepare to be wowed by this absolutely stunning 3 bedroom family home on this prime and quiet turning just a hop, skip and a jump away from the famous Central Park.
The house has been in the same family ownership for some 40+ years and is immaculately presented and will make you want to move in right away!
This section of Central Park was built later (1930's) than the red brick terraces and boasts a wider entrance hall, reception room and garden in comparison to the typical terrace houses found locally.
Off the wide entrance hall is a through living room (into bay with window shutters) and dining area extending to 26ft complete with gorgeous wooden flooring and access to the private rear garden. You can't help but be impressed with the amount of natural light and pretty view over the garden and terrace area from this room.
Adjacent to the reception rooms is the a modern and fully equipped kitchen with underfloor heating plus an impressive utility room - all with Hotpoint appliances as lots of storage.
The first floor features three generous bedrooms with bespoke wardrobes and a very smart family bathroom with underfloor heating.
And if that's not enough, the loft space could be transformed into additional accommodation (2 bedrooms plus bathroom) subject to the usual necessary consents.
But wait, there's more! Step outside and be amazed by the private garden featuring a delightful patio terrace area, a lawn section, and raised planting beds. And at the bottom of the garden, you'll find 'the ultimate' home office / gym room with bi-folding doors with built in blinds, light, heat, power, superfast broadband and storage for bikes and BBQ etc.
The Central Park area of East Ham is an absolute gem of East London, boasting attractive period houses, delightful gardens, and a wonderful local park with a playground and amazing cafe. And if you're in the market for excellent local schools, look no further than Brampton, New City, Roman Road, Vicarage Road Primary Schools, and Brampton Manor Academy, which famously sends more of its pupils to Oxbridge than Eton!
Conveniently located on the doorstep of several local bus routes and nearby East Ham Tube (District & Hammersmith & City Lines), this property is ideal for those who want to have it all. And when you're ready to indulge in some delicious eats, the Red Lion Pub offers mouth-watering sourdough pizza, while the Boleyn Tavern and Dining Room is the perfect spot for a fancy night out.
With so much to offer, combined with a real sense of community, it's no wonder that this pocket of East London is the place to be.
'A word from the owners....'
Our house on Ascot Road has been a wonderful place to live and grow up in, forging many happy memories, over 3 generations of family! We have genuinely loved getting the house to its current high standard and it has loaned itself to be a great environment for leisure, work and play. The location close to the park is one very strong reason we have enjoyed living here so much. Coupled with excellent local schools, which many family members attended, has also been a major benefit, providing the solid foundations in early years. The sense of community in area has always been a strong underlying bond, with neighbours always willing to either support one another, or just to stop and have a chat with. Simply put, we as a family have been truly blessed to call the property home for such a long and happy period.
